WHAT TO EXPECT...
If you are looking for posed type photos then I'm probably not the photographer for you. I love to capture the natural interaction between whomever is in front of my camera. Genuine cuddles with mom & dad, the head over heals in love connection between couples, the playfulness between siblings. I'm not interested in 'perfect', I'm interested in genuine emotion and interaction that just shows who you are.
AVAILABILITY...
A limited number of weddings and sessions are accepted each month. If you have a particular date in mind, please inquire for availability.
SHOOTING TIMES...
The best times to shoot outdoors are typically the couple of hours after sunrise and the couple of hours before sunset. Not only is it cooler and more comfortable, but the sun's natural light is also softer and more flattering. I prefer to shoot in the evening when the sun has a nice warm glow to it. And don't be afraid of cloudy days, they can produce some really wonderful light.
WHAT TO WEAR...
FAMILY SESSIONS: To maintain the focus on you and/or your child(ren), I suggest clothing that is simple and free of large logos. Please try to stay away from white or black. And don't be afraid to mix and match patterns.
ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS: I want you to be comfortable in what you are wearing so please don't go over the top and dress like you wouldn't normally.
For the girls, your favorite jeans and cute tops in colors that compliment your skin tone. Dresses are really cute too.
For the guys, your favorite jeans are great as well as button up shirts. Please try to avoid wearing t-shirts or anything with logos on them.
Please try to avoid wearing white and or black tops. Please feel free to bring a few outfits for our session.
NEWBORNS...
Newborn sessions are best to be done within the first 10 days. They are just squishier, more movable and sleep more soundly. Also, make sure baby's belly is nice and full and turn up the temperature in your house just a little warmer than usual.
I take a simpler approach to newborn photography. I try to stay away from props for the most part. I just want to photograph your baby as natural as possible.
TERMS...
Session fee is due upon session start before any photographs are taken.
RETURNING CLIENTS...
I offer returning clients 25% off their session fee as a thank you for your loyalty.
PAYMENT...
I accept cash and cheque. I do accept credit cards but via PayPal only.
